Für den Mac gibt es einige gute FTP-Programme: Captain FTP, Interarchy, Fugu oder Transmit. Würdige Pendants zum Windows-Klassiker LeechFTP (evtl für die Switcher unter den Lesern interessant).
Ich habe mich vor einiger Zeit (zu Version 1.7) für Transmit entschieden: schnell, stabil, schön, sympathisch und sympathisch. Kürzlich erschien die Version 2.6 mit einigen Bugfixes und Detail-Verbesserungen und ich nahm das zum Anlass, mal eine Mail in Richtung Panic von Stapel zu lassen. Mal sehen, ob meine Vorschläge Eingang in die nächsten Versionen finden!

I’ve some suggestion which might improve Transmit:

1. Synchronising
   A checkbox to *include subdirectories*
2. The Queue Drawer
   A scrollbar (okay, support for the mouses’ scrollwheel is fine!)
3. Request for a new function
   After entering a URL, download of entire website (like the UNIX tool “wget”)

Hi,

I’ve 3 suggestions for the next Safari versions:

1. I would like to get asked by Safari if I really want to close a window with more than one tab (or to quit Safari at all). Imagine you have several tabs open and close the window accidentally…
2. Do not print backgrounds. Processing these pages take a long time in my printer (HP Laserjet 1200). IE/Mac prints faster because it prints only text and foreground images.
3. How about a new feature: Snapshot. A single click or a menue option for bookmarking all open tabs in a bookmark folder. Would be great to capture an entire session. Or, if snapshots are taken automatically (optional) you can restore a previous “surfing state” in the case Safari crashes.
