5 Wege um sicherzustellen, dass Benutzer Dein Formular nicht ausfüllen
Kurzer aber guter Artikel von Eric G. Myers zu Fehlern, die man in Web-Formularen vermeiden sollte: »5 Ways To Make Sure That Users Abandon Your Forms«
So here are my top 5 ways to make sure that customers don’t complete your forms.
- Ask for information the user doesn’t have at their finger tips.
- Ask for a lot of information, but don’t tell me why you need it.
- Force me to input data according to how your system wants to see it.
- Provide cryptic error messages that tell me to correct my mistake, but then give no information about what I did wrong.
- Don’t give me any indication of where I am in the process.
Via formulates »What makes a good form?«, auf das wiederum Jan hingewiesen hat.
Zu Formularen empfehle ich gerne die »Best Practices For Web Form Design« von LukeW.
